Bangladesher Samajtantrik Dal
A rally organised jointly by Bangladesher Samajtantrik Dal (BSD), Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) and Ganotantrik Bam Morcha was held in front of the Jatiya Press Club on Wednesday. In the programme the speakers bitterly criticized the conspiracy to increase price of electricity. They also protested the price hike of other essentials including rice. The function was addressed, among others, by General Secretary of the Revolutionary Workers Party Saiful Haque, central leader of BSD Bazlur Rashid Firoz. The rally was attended, among others, by Chief Coordinator of Ganasanghati Andolon Zonaed Saki, General Secretary of Ganotantrik Biplabi Party Moshrefa Mishu and CPB Presidium Member Abdullah Kafi Ratan. General Secretary of CPB Mohammad Shah Alam presided over the function.
Swadhinata Chikitsak Parishad
A-61 member Convening Committee of Swadhinata Chikitsak Parishad, National Institute of Cardio Vascular Diseases and Hospital unit was formed at a meeting held recently in the conference room of the hospital in the city. The committee decided to form its full-fledged committee within three months next. The executives are: Convenor- Dr Kazi Abul Azad, Joint Convenors-Dr Nasir Uddin, Dr Mostak Ahmed Protik, Dr Ataul Haque and Dr Sheikh Daud Adnan, Member Secretary-Dr Humayun Kabir Mintu.The members of the committee, among others, are-Dr Zulfiqar Ali Lenin, Prof Dr Kamrul Hasan Milon, Dr Mahbubur Rahman Babu, Dr Kazal Kumar Karmaker, Prof Dr Syed Abdul Quader, Prof Dr Mir Zamal Uddin, Prof Dr Amal Kumar Chowdhury, Prof Dr Mamunur Rashid Sizar, Dr Khondkar Shahid Hossain, Prof Dr Naresh Chandra Mondol, Dr Abdullah Shahriar, Dr Mozammel Haque, Dr Prodip Kumar Karmaker, Dr Golam Azam, Dr Manjil Ahmed, Dr Nirmal Kanti Dey, Dr Delwar Hossain, Dr Faraizi Bakhtiar Ahmed and Dr Zafrul Haque. Central leader of the committee Prof Dr Kamrul Hasan Milon presided over the event.
