Book publication ceremony
A book publication ceremony titled “Instructional Manual: Research Methodology-Vol.1 ” written by Muhamamd Mahboob Ali and Md. Kamrul Hassan which was published by IQAC of Daffodil international University was unfold by former Vice Chancellor of Prof. Dr. Qazi Saleh Ahmad ,University of Jahangirnagar on 23 Septemebr,2017 at Dhaka School of Economics. Professor Dr.Nazma Begum, Chairman, Dept. of Economics, University of Dhaka, Jamshed uz Zaman,Former Principal, Bangladesh Bank Training Academy,Mr.Abu Taher Khan, Director, CDC, DIU and Md.Ashraful Alam,Country Project Coordinator,Muhammad Salim, Head of Academic affairs and Administration,DScE were present. Muhammad Mahboob Ali said this book is first vol. and 2nd volume will be published soon.Prof.Dr.Qazi Saleh Ahmad praised for such lively and easy book for young faculties to do research with examples. The program was presided over by Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, BOT, DIU. Dr. Md. Sabur Khan described the need of proper research for developing the nation and to build entrepreneurial spirit.
Air Chief calls on US Pacific Air Force commander
Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Abu Esrar, BBP, ndc, acsc visited Headquarters of US Pacific Air Force at Joint Air Force Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam in Hawaii, USA. On his arrival he was presented Guard of Honour by a smartly turned out contingent. He inspected the guard and took salute. Chief of Air Staff Called on General Terrence J. O’Shaughnessy, Commander of US Pacific Air Forces and exchanged views on bilateral issues. Besides, Air Chief also exchanged views on professional matters with the Air Chiefs of different countries participated in ÒPacific Air Chiefs Symposium (PACS)Ó held in USA. Mentionable that, Chief of Air Staff is now in USA on an official tour. It is expected that the visit of Chief of Air Staff will play an important role for strengthening the existing friendly relationship between Armed Forces of two countries as well as with the Air Forces of other participating countries which will lead to take steps for development of Bangladesh Air Force.
