Satsangha Bangladesh

A service-oriented religious organisation, Satsangha Bangladesh has donated Taka five lakh to the Prime Minister’s Relief and Welfare Fund to help the country’s flood-affected people. Office-bearers of the organisation handed over a cheque for the money to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her office recently. General Secretary of the organisation Dhritabrata Aditya, Assistant Secretaries Subrata Aditya, Nikhil Majumdar and Suman Das were present on the occasion. The premier thanked the government and private organisations which donated to the PM’s Relief and Welfare Fund. She said in addition to the people affected by natural disasters and accidents, deserving people belonging to different sections like poets, artistes, literatures and journalists get assistance from this fund during their needs. Sree Sree Thakur Anukulchandra is the founder of Satsanga Bangladesh.

Bangladesh Cold Storage Association

Bangladesh Cold Storage Association (BCSA), Rangpur district unit distributed huge relief materials among 600 flood-affected people of Gangachara and Kawnia upazilas in Rangpur district on the 31st ultimo. Rangpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) extended assistance to BCSA for distributing relief materials at two separate ceremonies. Each of the 600 flood-hit families received five-kilogram rice, 10-kilogram potato, one-kilogram sugar, one-kilogram vermicelli, 70-gram powdered milk and five packets oral saline packed in a sac. President of Bangladesh Chamber of Industries, former Vice-President of FBCCI and Member of BCSA Mostafa Azad Chowdhury Babu distributed relief goods among 400 flood-hit families at Nohali union parishad premises under Gangachara upazila. The function was attended.
