Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote
A discussion on the occasion of the National Mourning Day and the 42nd Martyrdom Anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman organised by Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote (BSJ) was held at the Jatiya Press Club in the city on the nineteenth instant. Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim was present in the programme as the chief guest. While speaking Nasim urged the countrymen to remain alert against the anti-liberation forces. “They will never come in power in future. This is the right time to take a decision about the anti-liberation forces. They would have to be rooted out from the country’s soil. You should remain alert against them,” he added. Nasim said BNP is now busy in hatching conspiracies and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia is the key conspirator. BNP want to reestablish the anti-liberation forces through their conspiracy, he added. President of the jote and State Minister for Post and Telecommunications Tarana Halim presided over the function.
Muktijoddha Foundation
A discussion marking the National Mourning Day and 42nd martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman organised by Muktijoddha Foundation (MF) was held at the Jatiya Press Club on Saturday. Science and Technology Minister Architect Yeafes Osman was present as the chief guest. While speaking Yeafes said the pro-Liberation forces should work unitedly so that the new generation can know the real history of 1971 Liberation War. “We got an independent Bangladesh for Bangabandhu. We must reach his outstanding performance at people’s doorsteps so that the new generation can know the actual history of 1971,” he added. He urged all patriotic people to remain alert against the deep-rooted conspiracies of the defeated forces of 1971 Liberation War, including Jamaat-militant ones. Referring to different development activities of the incumbent government, the minister said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, eldest daughter of Father of the Nation, is working relentlessly to materialize the ideals and dreams of Bangabandhu while the anti-liberation forces remain active to foil those.
The minister lauded the promotional activities of the Muktijoddha Foundation.
