Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote
A discussion marking the 156th birth anniversary of Bishwakabi Rabindranath Tagore organised by Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote was held at Shilpakala Academy in the city on Monday. Awami League (AL) Publicity and Publications Affairs Secretary Dr Hasan Mahmud was present as the chief guest. But their leaders and workers were locked into clash,” he added. Hasan said, ” Now we are disappointed seeing the helpless condition of BNP. They are pleading through foreigners to hold talks with AL.” AL agreed to hold dialogue, but it would not sit with any terrorist group and war criminals, he said. Hasan said that people could not be fanatic, if practice of religion and culture went on together. The programme was addressed, among others, by AL’s Dhaka City South unit General Secretary Shahe Alam Murad, AL’s Shahhbagh police station unit President GM Atik and General Secretary of the jote Arun Sarker Rana.
