Bangladesh National Awami Party
A discussion on the 4th death anniversary of politician and journalist Comrade Nirmal Sen organised by Bangladesh National Awami Party-Bangladesh NAP, Dhaka Mahanagar was held on the 8th instant in Jadu Miah auditorium in the city’s Nayapalton. In the programme the speakers recalled the contributions of Comrade Nirmal Sen. They said Comrade Nirmal was a creative man. He was always vocal against misdeed and injustice. Nirmal never bowed down his head towards the greed of power. He wanted guarantee for normal death of human being. The speakers called upon all to be inspired with the perception of Nirmal Sen to overcome the country’s present political crises. The function was addressed, among others, by Secretary General of Bangladesh NAP M Golam Mostofa Bhuiyan, NAP Vice-Chairman Kazi Faruque Hossain, its Office- Secretary Nurul Aman Chowdhury, Joint Convenor of the organisation, city unit Ansar Rahman Sikder and students’ leader Solaiman Sohel. Member Secretary of Bangladesh NAP, city unit Shahidunnabi Dablu presided over the event.
BD Sangharaj Abhaytishya Kalyan Trust
A reception was accorded to some meritorious students of different colleges and universities at Banshkhali Kendriya Shilkup Chathya Bihar in Banshkhali upazila of Chittagong organised by Bangladesh Sangharaj Abhaytishya Kalyan Trust (BSAKT) was held on the 10th instant. BSAKT also distributed warm clothes among 100 destitute people of the area. The programme was held after a 10-day long meditation course for Buddhist community at the temple organised by the organisation. The programme was addressed, among others, by Kormobir Sathyapriya Mohasthabir, Proggyendriya Sthabir, Debomithra Mohashtabir, Rahulapriya Mohasthabir, Dhormopaul Mohasthabir, Arjyapriya Mohasthabir, Samiran Barua, Dr.Tumapa Barua and Obhi Barua.Trust President Ratnopriya Mohasthabir presided over the function.
