Jhenidah Journalists Forum
Jhenidah Journalists Forum was formed in a general meeting of journalists of Jhenidah district working in Dhaka held at the temporary office of the forum in the city’s 32, Purana Palton on Thursday with senior journalist Kazi Abdul Hannan in the chair. The executives of the forum are: Adviser-Munshi Abdul Mannan (Inqilab), Covenor-Kazi Abdul Hannan (Daily Observer), Joint Convenor-Mehedi Hasan Palash (Inqilab), Member Secretary-Ashraful Islam (Ittefaq), Joint Member Secretary-Golam Mostofa Kiron (Gazi Television). Members are: Sushil Chowdhury (The New Nation), Alam Jahangir (Bhorer Pata), Mujahidul Islam Pavel (RTV), Rejaul Haque Koushik (Ittefaq), Mizanur Rahman (Banglar Dak), Shahnaz Begum Poly (Inqilab), Raqibul Haque (Alokito Bangladesh), Kutub Uddin (Dipto Television), SM Sakhawat Hussain (Islamicnews24.net), Mehedi Hasan Apon (Daily Observer), Raihan Kabir (Uttaran), Masum Billah (Banik Barta) and Rakibuzzaman Khan (ONB24.com).
Sheikh Russel Jatiya Shishu-Kishore Parishad
A discussion marking 97th birthday of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the National Children’s Day-2016 organised by Sheikh Russel Jatiya Shishu-Kishore Parishad was held at Shishu Academy auditorium in the city on Thursday. Speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury was present as the chief guest. While speaking Shirin called upon all to help build children in proper way so that they could establish ‘Sonar Bangla’ as dreamt by Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
