Bangladesh Animal Nutrition Society
A discussion organised by Bangladesh Animal Nutrition Society was held at the Krishibid Institution Bangladesh in the city’s Farmgate. In the programme held recently the speakers urged the poultry and livestock farmers to consider the public interest along with their own in rearing cattle and poultry to check antibiotic use and other harmful ingredients in food production. They said the present government under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has taken all steps to ensure the safe food for the country’s people. President of the society Professor Ali Akbar presided over the event. The function was addressed, among others, by Additional Secretary of the Fisheries and Livestock Ministry Kazi Wasi Uddin and Director General of the Department of Livestock Services Dr Abdul Jabbar Shikdar.
