Palli Bidyut Samity
Under Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board, Palli Bidyut Samity, Gaibandha unit has taken up programmes to celebrate Mujib Barsho in a befitting manner.General Manager of the samity Pana Ullah said necessary measures have been taken to implement the programmes successfully at the command areas of the samity marking the Mujib Year. Like other autonomous bodies the organisation under Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board in Gaibandha has also chalked out the elaborate programmes on the occasion of Mujib Barsho. According to sources, the government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has announced the commemoration of 2020-2021 as the Mujib Year on the occasion of birth centenary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The Mujib Year would be celebrated at home and abroad from March 17, 2020 to March 26, 2021 in a befitting manner through holding various programmes.
