Abdur Razzak Smriti Parishad
A commemorative meeting marking the eighth death anniversary of former General Secretary of Awami League Abdur Razzak organised by ‘Abdur Razzak Smriti Parishad’ was held in TSC auditorium of Dhaka University. In the programme held on the twenty- third instant the speakers said Abdur Razzak was an honest and dedicated politician who played vital role in every transitional period of the Bangalee nation through his entire life. They said Razzak was a good organizer and activist-friendly leader and for this reason he was made Chief of Awami Volunteer Core during the Liberation War. The function was addressed, among others, by AL Advisory Committee Member Amir Hossain Amu, its Presidium Member Tofail Ahmed, AL leader Mukul Bose, Abdur Razzak’s son Nahim Razzak, MP and President of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) Al-Nahean Khan Joy. Vice-Chancellor of World University of Bangladesh Prof Abdul Mannan Choudhury presided over the event.
