Jatiya Ganotantrik League
A discussion on the occasion of birth anniversary of Bangamata Begum Fazilatunnesa Mujib organized jointly by Jatiya Ganotantrik League and Kazi Aref Foundation was held in the auditorium of Bangladesh Shishu Kalyan Parishad in the city’s Topkhana Road on Thursday. In the discussion the speakers paid tributes to Fazilatunnesa. The discussion was addressed, among others, by Awami League Advisory Council member Advocate Yusuf Hossain Humayun and Vice-Chancellor of World University of Bangladesh Prof Dr Abdul Mannan Chowdhury with president of Kazi Aref Foundation Kazi Masud Ahmed in the chair.

Leaders of Ganotantrik Bam Morcha bitterly condemned the police attack on the agitating employees of Tuba Group who organized a rally in front of Hossain Market at 11 am on Wednesday. They also condemned the police attack upon the leaders of the morcha. The leaders of the morcha expressed solidarity with the demands of Tuba group employees and demanded immediate payment of their arrear salaries and festival bonus. They demanded immediate release of Monjur Moyeen, central leader of Graments Sramik Trade Union Kendra who was arrested from the Hossain Market area.
