A discussion on ‘Significance of the holy Ramzan’ organized by Sonar Bangla Photo Service & News Media Limited was held in the VIP Seminar Hall of the Central Public Library in the city’s Shahbagh on Sunday. The discussion was addressed, among others, by Justice Momtaj Uddin Ahmed, Secretary General of Bangabandhu Diploma Chikitsak Parishad Dr Emdadul Haque Selim and Adviser of the organisation Advocate Saidul Haque Sayeed. The speakers demanded exemplary punishment to those responsible for food adulteration including iftari items. An Iftar Mahfil was also held. The speakers urged all to maintain sanctity of the holy Ramzan.
