Bangladesh Jatiya Hindu MahajoteBangladesh Jatiya Hindu Mahajote staged a demonstration in front of the National Press Club in the city on Friday in protest against attacks on temples in different places including ISKCON temple in the city’s Swamibagh, vandalizing of idols, plundering, repression and land grabbing of Hindu people. The human chain was addressed, among others, by Secretary General of Hindu Mahajote Advocate Gobinda Chandra Pramanik and Joint Secretary General Manik Chandra Sarker. President of Bishwa Hindu Parishad Bangladesh Manoj Kumar Mondol presided over the programme. The speakers demanded exemplary punishment to those responsible for the attacks on Hindu people and their dwelling houses.
