A discussion on ’33rd death anniversary of former Vice-Chancellor of Dhaka University Prof Dr Abdul Matin Chowdhury and 1st death anniversary of former Governor of Bangladesh Bank Lutfar Rahman Sarker’ organized jointly by Jatiya Ganotantrik League and Kazi Aref Foundation was held on Wednesday at the auditorium of Bangladesh Shishu Kalyan Parishad in the city’s Topkhana Road. Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique was present as the chief guest. In the discussion the speakers recalled the contributions of the duo. Later, they prayed for the salvation of the departed souls.
