A discussion organised by Betagi Upazila Jatiyatabadi Forum, Dhaka was held at the National Press Club auditorium in the city on Saturday. Former Vice-Chancellor of Dhaka University Prof Dr Emajuddin Ahmed was present as the chief guest while Adviser to BNP Chairperson Shamsuzzaman Dudu as the special guest. In the discussion the speakers protested arrest of Adviser to BNP Chairperson and Vice-President of Bangladesh Bar Council Advocate Khondkar Mahbub Hossain. They also demanded to release him immediately. Among others, Assistant Organising Secretary of BNP Advocate Mohammad Majibur Rahman Sarwar, Mayor of Barisal City Corporation Ahsan Habib Kamal, President of the Supreme Court Bar Council Advocate Joynul Abedin and President of Swechchhasebok Dal Habibun Nabi Khan Sohel were present on the occasion.
