AL Sub-committee on Cultural Affairs
A cultural chat (adda ) organised by by AL Sub-committee on Cultural Affairs was held at Jatiya Shilpakala Academy in the city. AL General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader was present as the chief guest in the programme held on Sunday. While speaking Quader said though the AL forged alliance with different political parties for strategic reasons, it will not budge an inch from its root of inception. Quader said it becomes obligatory to forge alliance against opponent alliance on strategic ground during the period of elections. “One thing you should remember that Bangladesh Awami League will never budge an inch from its root of birth. Our ideology is non-communal humanism. We will always uphold this spirit,” he said. State Minister for Cultural Affairs KM Khalid, AL’s Cultural Affairs Sub-C0mmitee Chairman and drama personality Ataur Rahman, its Member Secretary Asim Kumar Ukil, Shilpakala Academy Director General Liaquat Ali Lucky and AL lawmaker Simin Hossain Rimi attended the event. AL Presidium Member Begum Matia Chowdhury, Joint General Secretary AFM Bahauddin Nasim and Organizing Secretary Mirza Azam, enjoyed the programme, among others.
