Bangladesh Awami Swechchhasebak League
Leaders of Bangladesh Awami Swechchhasebak League distributed blankets among cold-hit people in northern districts . As part of humanitarian gesture, the organisation reached out to distressed people including children, elderly, widows and physically challenged people recently in various places of the country. President of organisation Nirmal Ranjan Guha and General Secretary Afzalur Rahman Babu and other leaders handed over the blankets among the people at separate ceremonies held in Rangpur district.As per the direction of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the ASL leaders distributed blankets among cold stricken people as the Prime Minister’s winter-gift. Apart from the leaders of the organisation General Secretary Afzalur Rahman Babu said, “I always want to stand by the common people, I want to work for them. I am serving the people upholding the ideology of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.”
