Cumilla north district Awami Juba League distributed blankets among 600 poor and distressed people in Debidwar upazila in Cumilla district. Former Secretary of the Awami Juba League and newly elected Chairman of Sultanpur Union Parishad Principal Md. Humayun Kabir distributed the blankets at a function held recently at the Barkamata Union Parishad ground as the chief guest . President of Barkamata Union Awami League Md. Bashir Ahmed, former member of District Juba League Abdul Haque Sarkar, Organizing Secretary of Barkamata Union Awami League Md. Shah Alam, among others, were present on the occasion. The chief guest urged the rich people to stand by the cold affected poor people to reduce their suffering.
