The Asia Foundation signed a partnership agreement with Tinkers Technologies Limited Bangladesh to produce quality children’s content, books, audio books, video-books for their platform – ‘Let’s Read’ and ‘ Rupkotha’. Country representative of Asia Foundation Kazi Faisal Bin Seraj and Managing Director and CEO of Tinkers Technologies Limited Bangladesh Mohammad Ruhul Ameen signed the agreement recently on behalf of their respective side. The Asia Foundation’s Books for Asia program has developed a digital library platform and initiative called Let’s Read that enables users to access entire collections of children’s books in local and non-local languages. The Let’s Read initiative makes high-quality books available to children anytime, anywhere in languages they use at home and school. Let’s Read enables more children to experience the joy of reading, particularly those impacted by poverty, civil conflict, or gender discrimination. Rupkotha is an interactive Bangla storybook platform designed by Tinkers Technologies Ltd Bangladesh. Rupkotha focuses on interactive children’s content in Bangla, for both resident and non-resident Bangladeshi children. The books, ebooks, audiobooks, video-books in the Rupkotha platform aim to help parents develop imagination, empathy, value, problem-solving, and a love for reading among children.
