Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Huq said that the members of the Bangladesh Law Association can make important contribution to establishing the rule of law. “The rule of law is now interrelated with many surrounding issues. From that point of view, apart from judges and lawyers, people of various professions of the association can make important contribution to establishing the rule of law,” he said. The minister said this recently while speaking as the chief guest at the inaugural function of the 35th annual conference of the Bangladesh Law Association at Dhaka University. Anisul Haque said the association can contribute to providing legal aid to poor and helpless people, creating awareness among the general public about law, conducting research on law and crime.
