Bangabandhu Prokoushali Parishad
Newly elected President of Bangabandhu Prokoushali Parishad, Bangladesh Power Development Unit Engineer Mahbubur Rahman has taken over on September 17 last. On the occasion he paid floral tributes on the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on Wednesday last in the city’s 32, Dhanmondi. While speaking Mahbubur said everybody should know the life and works of Bangabandhu to know about the history of Bangladesh. Bangladesh never be born if Bangabandhu was not born. The function was also addressed, among others, by General Secretary of the parishad ANM Tarique Abdullah, its Executive Member Engineer Shamsul Alam, Vice-President-1 Engineer Ashraful Islam and its former President Engineer Ashutosh Roy. Vice President, Joint Secretary, Organizing Secretary and members of the executive committee of the organisation were present, among others, on the occasion.
