AL Legal Affairs Sub-Committee
A discussion on the occasion of National Mourning Day organized by AL Legal Affairs Sub-Committee was held at Bangabandhu Avenue in the city. AL General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader speaks virtually in the programme held on Wednesday. While speaking Quader said that BNP is the biggest obstacle for giving a democratic form in politics of Bangladesh. He said the killers would never have had such a big audacity if Ziaur Rahman had not been involved in the August 15 carnage. Mentioning that BNP has played with history of Bangladesh, he said BNP introduced the politics of murder in this country and that is why BNP is the only reliable refuge for communal forces. Regarding BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia’s multiple fake birthday celebrations, Quader said, “BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir always gives nonsense answers without giving the correct information to this end. The function was attended, among others, by DSCC Mayor Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh and AL’s Legal Affairs Secretary Kazi Najibullah Hiru. Chairman of the sub-committee Advocate Yusuf Hossain Humayun presided over the event.
