Bangladesh Agricultural Economists Association
The leaders of Bangladesh Agricultural Economists Association greeted Prof Dr Shamsul Alam for being appointed as the new State Minister for Planning. President of the association and former Senior Secretary of the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) Sajjadul Hassan, its Vice-President and Senior Secretary of Ministry of Agriculture Mesbahul Islam and the associations’s Secretary General Mizanul Haque Kajol, and other leaders greeted Dr Alam recently with bouquets at his office at the Ministry of Planning, said a press release. In a message, the leaders of the association highly praised the talents, relentless efforts and integrity of Dr Shamsul Alam for his role in framing the country’s 6th, 7th and 8th Five Year Plans, Perspective Plan, Bangladesh Delta Plan 2100, and other important plans during his role as a member of the General Economics Division of the Planning Commission.
