The launching ceremony of the naval rally organised by the Central Executive Committee of Bangladesh Awami Matsyajibi League, Dhaka was held at Mill Barrack Naval Jetty at Gandaria in the city marking Bangabandhu’s birth centenary and the golden jubilee of independence. Fisheries and Livestock Minister SM Rezaul Karim was present as the chief guest in the programme held on Tuesday. While speaking Rezaul said that anti-liberation forces will not be allowed to rise further in the soil of Bangladesh. “Some Razakars of ’71 are creating instability in the country under various names. Islam does not believe in violence, terrorism or militancy, neither do we Bangladeshis support those who stir unnecessary chaos to break the harmony of the country,” he added The minister called upon the leaders and activist of the organisation to build resistance wherever there is criticism of Bangabandhu’s ideology, Sheikh Hasina’s leadership and the spirit of the liberation war. President of the organisation Saidur Rahman presided over the event.
