A discussion marking the historic March 7 speech of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman organised by Dhaka city unit of Sheikh Russel Jatiya Shishu Kishore Parishad was held at Awami League office in city’s Bangabandhu Avenue. Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud was present as the chief guest in the programme held recently. While speaking Hasan urged BNP to seek apology from the countrymen for distorting the history, He said BNP observed the historic March 7 with an ill motive. The minister said the March 7 speech was recognized as the document of world heritage. But, there were many conspiracies over the speech and even the speech was not played for 21 years after the assassination of Bangabandhu, he added.The function was also addressed, among others by advisers of the parishad Sirajul Islam Molla and Nazmul Haque and Jatiya Krira Parishad Secretary Masud Karim. President of the organisation KM Shahid Ullha presided over the event.
