Sheikh Russel Jatiya Shishu Kishore Parishad
A discussion marking the founding anniversary of Sheikh Russel Jatiya Shishu Kishore Parishad was held at Krishibid Institution Bangladesh (KIB) auditorium in the city. Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader was present as the chief guest in the programme held on Thursday. While speaking Quader said the family of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman is a symbol of honesty, talent and courage in the history of country’s politics. “Bangabandhu is for all and upholding his ideals means showing respect to the values of the country and its independence. “Bangabandhu has given us an independent state and geographical freedom while his worthy daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has given us economic emancipation and turned the country as a role model of hunger and poverty alleviation,” he said. Bangabandhu and Sheikh Hasina are the role models of the new generation, he said. The function was addressed, among others, by AL Office Secretary Barrister Biplab Barua, lawmakers Nazrul Islam Babu and Sirajul Islam Mollah. President of the parishad Rakibur Rahman presided over the event.
