Saraswatotsab Samannaya Parshad
A cultural event, bani archana and ‘shukla’ programme organised on the occasion of the Saraswati Puja by Saraswatotsab Samannaya Parshad of the Bangladesh Parliament was held at Rajdhani School ground at Manik Mia Avenue in the city. Jatiya Sangsad Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury was present as the chief guest in the programme held on Tuesday. While speaking the Speaker said that everyone is performing their religious rituals independently and peacefully in the non-communal Bangladesh under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Dr Shirin said, “Saraswatotsab is being celebrated with the collective efforts of all, maintaining the health guidelines in view of the coronavirus epidemic. Such a beautiful arrangement will inspire everyone with a non-communal spirit”. The Speaker called upon all to work together to build a non-communal, developed and prosperous Bangladesh. JS Deputy Speaker Fazle Rabbi Miah also addressed the function. Pankaj Nath, MP presided over the event.
