Bangabandhu Parishad
Leaders of Bangabandhu Parishad Central Committee held a view-exchange meeting with the newly formed executive committee of its Cumilla University (CoU) unit. The meeting was held on Tuesday at it the party’s central office in the city. In the meeting, central leaders urged the new committee to encourage the students to learn about the life, works and philosophy of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. They also discussed elaborately about different programmes to be organised on the occasion of the birth centenary of Bangabandhu. Central executive committee member of the parishad and senior journalist Ajit Kumar Sarker, Matiur Rahman Laltu, Dr Jahangir Alam Bulbul, Dr Mizanur Rahman of CoU unit, Aynul Haque, Associate Professor Rabiul Awal Chowdhury, Kazi Omar Siddique, Zillur Rahman, Atikur Rahman,
Emdadul Haque and Sangita Bashak spoke in the meeting, among others. Member of the parishad central executive committee Dr Sheikh Abdullah Al Mamun presided over the event.
