Nagorik Sanghati :
A human chain organised jointly by Nagorik Sanghati and Food Safety Network was formed in front ot the Jatiya Press Club on the occasion of Food Safety Day. In the programme held recently the speakers demanded formulation of food rights law and its implementation and ensuring of livelihood of the all citizens of the country. The function was held as part of its month-long programme. The speakers urged the authority concerned to take care of the country’s peasants as they produce food for all. The function was attended among others, by General Secretary of Nagorik Sanghati Sharifuzzaman Sharif, Vice-Chairman of Food Safety Network Mihir Biswas, Executive Director of DYDF Arka Chakravarty, Project Director of Darpan, Member Agency of Food Safety Network Basanti Saha, its Campaign Coordinator Salma Ahmed, its Public Relation Officer Samiul Islam and labor leaders Abdur Razzaque & Advocate Jibanananda Jayanta.
