Bangabandhu Academy
A discussion commemorating former minister and Awami League leader Mohammad Nasim organised by Bangabandhu Academy was held at the Jatiya Press Club. State Minister for Information Dr Murad Hasan was present as the chief guest in the programme held on Wednesday. While speaking Murad said former Presidium Member of Awami League (AL) Mohammed Nasim was a ‘bright star’ in country’s political history. “The leader dedicated his entire life for the welfare of the country and the nation. Foresight, wisdom and political skills gave him a unique position in country’s politics,” said Murad. “People will recall the tremendous contribution of Nasim, which he made for the welfare and development of the country and nation, his name will be written in golden letters in the history of Bangladesh.”, he added. The function was also attended, among others, by former AL General Secretary Dhaka south city Shah Alam Murad and Kamal Ahmed. Adviser of the academy Chittaranjan Das presided over the event.
