Hindu Religious Welfare Trust
National Mourning Day and the 45th martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was observed by Hindu Religious Welfare Trust (HRWT) in befitting manner. Marking the day, HRWT, Gaibandha unit chalked out elaborate programmes including placing floral wreaths at the portrait of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and special prayer. Besides, HRWT organized a discussion meeting on life and works of Bangabandhu on the premises of V-Aid Road Kalibari Naat Mondir in Gaibandha town on the fifteenth instant in cooperation with Bangladesh Puja Utjapan Parishad (BPUP) district chapter.
Deputy Commissioner Abdul Matin addressed the meeting as the chief guest and Police Super Towhidul Islam and Mayor of Gaibandha Pourashava Advocate Shah Masud Zahangir Kabir Milon, Sadar UNO Prasun Kumar Chakrabartee and President of Bangladesh Hindu Bouddha Christian Oikya Parishad, Gaibandha district unit Principal Paresh Chandra Sarker were present at the event as special guests.The meeting was also addressed, among others, by President of BPUP district unit Ranajit Kumar Bakshi Surya and its General Secretary Dipak Kumar Paul.
