Bangabandhu Academy
A discussion in observance of the 9th death anniversary of former Finance Minister Shah AMS Kibria.organised by Bangabandhu Academy was held recently at Bir Uttam Khwaza Nizamuddin auditorium at Segunbagicha in the city with Publicity and Publication Affairs Secretary of Awami League Dr Hasan Mahmud as the chief guest. While addressing Hasan said peace would not be restored in the country without bidding farewell to the killers and bomb attackers from politics.
Adviser of Bangabandhu Academy Nazir Miah chaired the discussion also addressed, among others, by Dhaka City unit Samyabadi Dal General Secretary Haroon Chowdhury, Muktijoddha Projanma League President Advocate Asaduzzaman Durjoy and President of Bangabandhu Academy Humayun Kabir Mizi.
Paying deep homage to the slain senior leader of his party and former Finance Minister Shah AMS Kibria and praying for eternal peace of his departed soul, Dr Hasan Mahmud said, “Late Kibria was not only a mere politician of high caliber, he was also a successful economist of the country. For this reason, the previous Awami League government of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina could achieve successes.”
