Bangladesh Hawkers Union
A rally organised by Bangladesh Hawkers Union was held in front of the Jatiya Press Club on Thursday. In the programme speakers demanded exemplary punishment to those involved in killing BUET student Abrar Fahad. They also called for establishing safe campus for all students through expulsion of terrorists from the campus. The function was addressed, among others, by General Secretary of the union Sekendar Hayat, General Secretary of Garments Sramik Trade Union Kendra Joly Talukder, Engineer Nimay Ganguli, President of Bangladesh Chhatra Union Mehedi Hasan Nobel, Vice-President of the organisation Abul Kalam Azad and its Joint General Secretary Hazrat Ali. President of the union Abdul Hashim Kabir presided over the event.
