A view-exchange meeting with the leaders of Bangladesh Teachers’ Association was held at the residence of Social Welfare Minister Rashed Khan Menon in city’s Mintu Road on Thursday afternoon. While speaking in the programme Menon said the people of the country are now reaping the benefits of development activities of the education system as implemented by the current government. “BNP destroyed the education system in the country during its tenure. The people of the country are now getting the benefits of development activities of the education system implemented gradually by the current government,” he added. Referring to the misuse of power by BNP to shatter the country’s economy, he said that Bangladesh made a hat-trick in corruption due to their plundering of wealth. The function was also addressed, among others, by T and T College Principal Kazi Kamruzzaman.and General Secretary of the association Mohsin Reza. President of the association Azizul Islam presided over the event.
