Swadhinata Chikitshak Parishad
A discussion marking the National Mourning Day was held at the National Institute of Neurosciences and Hospital (NINH) in the city. Swadhinata Chikitshak Parishad (Swachip), NINH unit organised the programme on Wednesday. Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim was present as the chief guest in the discussion. While speaking Nasim said no dialogue can be held with people those burnt innocent people to death. “No dialogue can be held with BNP, a party which patronized people who opposed War of Liberation, killed Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman along with most of his family members in 1975,” he added. President of the parishad Dr MF Jahurul Haque Chowdhury presided over the event. The function was also addressed, among others, by Director of the organisation Prof Dr Dwin Mohammed, Swachip President Dr M Iqbal Arslan, its Secretary General Dr MA Aziz and Director of Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital Prof Dr Uttam Kumar Barua..
