Jatiya Ganotantrik League
A discussion organised on the occasion of 85th birth anniversary of Nobel Laureate and eminent politician Dr Martin Luther King Junior by Jatiya Ganotantrik League was held recently in the Roundtable Auditorium of Dhaka Reporters Unity in the city’s Segun Bagicha.
Former President of the Supreme Court Bar Association Barrister M Amir-Ul-Islam was present in the discussion as the chief guest while former minister and Presidium member of Bangladesh Awami League Satish Chandra Roy, HN Ashikur Rahman, MP, General Secretary of DUTA Prof Dr Akhtaruzzaman, General Manager of the daily New Nation Syed Altaf Hossain, President of US unit Awami League Dr Siddiqur Rahman, Vice-President and General Secretary of Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote Falguni Hamid and Arun Sarkar Rana respectively and women leader Masuda Faruk Ratna as special guests. The speakers recalled the contributions of Martin Luther.
