Shikshak Karmochari Oikyajote
A rally organised by Shikshak Karmochari Oikyajote was held in front of the Jatiya Press Club on Wednesday. In the programme the leaders of the jote strongly protested for not giving Baishakhi allowance to non-government teachers and employees. They also demanded for the nationalization of jobs of non-government teachers and employees. The function was addressed, among others, by Chairman of the jote Principal Selim Bhuiyan, Shahadat Hossain, leader of Karmochari Federation Ayub Ali, Professor Zakir Hossain and Principal Alamgir Talukdar. Convenor of the organisation, Dhaka district Mollah Nazrul Islam presided over the function. The rally was also held in Kushtia, Cumilla, Chattogram, Faridpur, Kishoreganj and Chandpur to press home the demands.
