Amrai Pari Paribarik Nirjaton Protirodh Jote
A fellowship programme for young talented group who would develop an apps on women rights issue jointly organised by Amrai Pari Paribarik Nirjaton Protirodh Jote and Daffodil International University (DIU) was heldat DIU auditorium in the city recently. Science and Technology Minister Architect Yeafesh Osman was present as the chief guest. While addressed the minister urged women as well as the young generation to come forward to develop the country utilizing the benefits of Information and Technology (IT). ‘Women empowerment through IT is very important and time befitting,’ he said. The minister said the role of women in development sector is remarkable whether it may be in playground, garments sector or even in armed forces. Dhaka Residential Model College became Champion while North South University achieved the second position in the fellowship programme.
