Zillur Rahman Smrity Sangsad
A discussion in observance of the first death anniversary of former President of the country Md Zillur Rahman organized by Zillur Rahman Smrity Sangsad was held on Wednesday at the auditorium of the National Press Club in the city.
Awami League Presidium Member and Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim was present as the chief guest. Paying his deep homage to Zillur Rahman, Nasim said, “Late Zillur Rahman was like a latent philosopher in Awami League, who shone in the bad days of the party. His role after the 1/11 political changeover of 2007 bore the testimony to the fact. The late AL leader never compromised as far as ideologies and principles were concerned.”
