A discussion on ‘Homecoming Day of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’ organised by Bangabandhu Parishad was held at the Jatiya Press Club on Friday. Member of the Advisory Council of Awami League (AL) Dr SA Malek was present as the chief guest. While speaking Malek said no unity would be forged with those who have patronized militancy. Malek, also General Secretary of the organisation criticized the call of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia to form a national unity.
Vice-Chancellor of Dhaka University (DU) Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique, Former Dean of DU Pharmacy Faculty Prof Dr ABM Faruqe and teachers, among others, addressed the programme.
