Dhaka Community Hospital Trust
Dhaka Community Hospital (DCH) Trust in collaboration with International Social Security Association, Harverd School of Public Health and Collegium Ramazzini organized an international conference on Environmental and Occupational Safety and Health (EOSH) at BIAM auditorium in the city. Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister and President of Bangladesh Workers’ Party Rahsed Khan Menon was present. While speaking Menon urged experts to make a “vision” for ensuring occupational health safety for the country’s workers. “It won’t be possible to ensure sustainable development in the country without facilitating occupational health safety for the workers,” he said this while inaugurating the conference.
DCH Trust Chairman Prof Quazi Quamruzzaman presided over the programme. Nearly 300 health and labour experts from home and abroad took part at the conference.
