Bangladesh Krishak League
A discussion organised by Bangladesh Krishak League (BKL) to mark the ‘Save Farmers, Save the Country Day’ was held in front of Awami League (AL) central office at Bangabandhu Avenue in the city on Friday. Awami League Presidium Member and Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim was present as the chief guest. While addressing Nasim said the recent statements of the Amnesty International (AI) and the Transparency International, Bangladesh (TIB) on two foreigners killing contained deep-rooted conspiracy. The event was also addressed, among others, by AL Joint General Secretary Mahbub-ul-Alam Hanif, Agriculture and Cooperative Affairs Secretary Dr Abdur Razzak, BKL General Secretary Advocate Khondokar Shamsul Haque Reza and Vice-President Sheikh Jahangir Alam.
President of the organisation Motahar Hossain Mollah presided over the programme.
