A discussion on ‘Sheikh Hasina’s contribution in achieving a developed and prosperous Bangladesh based on Bangabandhu’s ideals’ organized by ‘Amra Nagarbashi’ was held at the Jatiya Press Club on Thursday. Awami League Publicity and Publications Secretary Dr Hasan Mahmud was present as the chief guest. While addressing Hasan said that Khaleda Zia and her son Tarique Rahman were hatching conspiring in London. “Not only was the mother-son duo but most BNP leaders were abroad for the same purpose. But the people of the country would resist them like in the past,” he said. President of the organisation Md Jahangir Alam presided over the programme. Liberation War Affairs Minister A K M Mozammel Haq, MP, also addressed, among others, at the event.
