Bangabandhu Projanma League
A roundtable on ‘Existing politics and Election on Party Symbol ‘organised by Bangabandhu Projanma League was held at Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) auditorium at Segunbaicha. Awami League Publicity Secretary Dr Hasan Mahmud was present as the chief guest. While speaking Hasan said frustration has set in among BNP leaders and workers after hearing the news of party chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia’s renting house in London. “Khaleda Zia is holding meetings with different terrorists groups in London in the name of treatment there and hatching conspiracies against the government and the country,” Hasan Mahmud categorically said. Food Minister Advocate Kamrul Islam, Awami League central leader Sujit Roy Nandi, party leader Bolram Poddar and former State Minister for Home Affairs Shamsul Haq Tuku addressed, among others, at the function. President of the organisation Barrister Zakir Ahmed presided over the programme.
