Bangladesh Food Safety Network
A discussion organized by Bangladesh Food Safety Network was held on Thursday at Rajdhani Ideal School in the city marking the Global Handwashing Day. Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu was present as the chief guest. While addressing Inu said as it is essential to wash hands regularly for leading a healthy life in the same way the minds of the people should also be freed from superstitions and religious dogmatism to help build a healthy nation. United Nations Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) representative in Dhaka Mike Robson was present as the special guest. President of Consumers Association of Bangladesh (CAB) Golam Rahman presided over the programme.
