Bangladesh Children’s Voice
A discussion organised by Bangladesh Children’s Voice was held in the auditorium of the Liberation War Museum in the city’s Segunbagicha on Monday paying homage to those killed or wounded in the August 21 carnage of 2004. Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Huq was present at the event as the chief guest. While addressing Mozammel said a special tribunal would soon be constituted to try those perpetrators of the August 21 carnage of 2004 who tried to kill incumbent Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina mounting grenade attack at her anti-terrorism public rally at Bangabandhu Avenue in the city under a blue print of Hawa Bhaban. The discussion was also addressed, among others, by Md Nabi Newaj, MP, independence award winner Dr Syeda Badrun Nahar Chowdhury and Principal Md Ali Chowdhury Manik. President of the organisation Advocate Kazi Shahanara Yasmin presided over the programme.
