NSC Employees Union
A discussion and Doa Mahfil organised on the occasion of 40th martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Mourning Day by National Sports Council (NSC) Employees Union and Sramik League was held recently at the NSC auditorium in the city. State Minister for Youth and Sports Shri Biren Sikder, MP was present at the discussion as the chief guest. NSC Secretary Ashok Kumar Biswas, Youth & Sports Affairs Secretary of Awami League Dewan Shafiul Arefin Tutul and Jatiya Sramik League Secretary Sirajul Islam were, among others, present on the occasion. While speaking the speakers recalled the contribution of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman for the Independence of Bangladesh. In the Doa Mahfil participants offered prayers for the salvation of the departed soul of Bangabandhu and his family members who were assassinated.
