A seminar on ‘The strategic relationship between Bangladesh and China’ organized by Samyabadi Dal was held on Tuesday at the Center for Integrated Rural Development of the Asia and Pacific (CIRDAP) auditorium in the city. Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu was present as the chief guest. While speaking Inu said ‘The relationship that Bangladesh under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina had built with China and India was epoch-making’. China has contributed significantly to the development of infrastructure in Bangladesh, he added. General Secretary of the organisation Comrade Dilip Barua presided over the seminar. The event was addressed, among others, by the Ambassador of China to Bangladesh, Ma Min Quang, International Affairs Secretary of AwamI League and former minister Col (retd) Faruq Khan, MP and Golam Quader, MP of Jatiya Party.
