Jatiya Sramik Federation
A rally organised by Jatiya Sramik Federation was held on Tuesday in front of the Jatiya Press Club. In the rally the speakers protested the price hike of gas and electricity. The rally was addressed, among others, by General Secretary of the federation Amirul Haque Amin, central leaders M Delwar Hossain, MA Gani, Kamrul Hasan, Safia Parvin and Sheikh Anwar Hossain. While speaking General Secretary of Bangladesh Jubo Moitree Sabbah Ali Khan and leader of the Workers Party of Bangladesh Comrade Kamrul Ahsan expressed their solidarity with the programme of the organisation. The speakers also called upon the government to withdraw the decision to hike the price of gas and electricity for the greater interest of the common people. President of the organisation ASM Zakaria presided over the event.
