Garments Sramik Trade Union Kendra
A rally organised by Garments Sramik Trade Union Kendra was held recently in front of the Jatiya Press Club in the city. In the rally the speakers demanded immediate payment of arrear salaries of the employees of Swan Garments. They also demanded to withdraw false cases filed against some employees of the garments. The event was addressed, among others, by Vice-President of Bangladesh Trade Union Kendra Mahbub Alam, General Secretary of the organisation Kazi Ruhul Amin, Joint General Secretary Joly Talukder, President of OSK Garments and Textiles Sramik Federation Mohammad Yasin and women leader Engineer Shampa Basu. Executive President of the organisation Sadekur Rahman Shamim presided over the programme.
